High Five for Friday

So I missed my High Five for Friday last week because well... I was honestly just to tired to do it!!! :)  So I will just add a few extra on to this week.

1. Our sweet friends Leah and Chris are getting married next month and they have purchased their very first home! They are getting it all ready to come back to after their honeymoon!  I went by to see it and help them paint a little!  The home is beautiful and I cant wait to see it all finished!  I am so truly happy for them and their future together!!!

Macie and Leah painting!
Dave is so good at cutting in, esp because of his height :)

2.  My birchbox came in last week!!!! Yay!!!!  Can't say enough about how fun this is.

3. Soccer season has begun in our family.  Not just the usual for Brian but Caleb has started his first ever season of youth soccer!  They are seriously the cutest soccer players ever and every sweet kick he did I cheered in excitement.  Yes I am one of those moms!!!!!!
How cute are they?!  Ryan Gammons is his coach and he is so so good with all of the kids!!
 Going in for the goal!
Carter and Lily entertaining themselves during practice.
Doing their warm-up run at the beginning!
He has such great skills ;) and he gets them honestly!

4. Caleb and Carter got to have a play day with Uncle Benny and McKenna "AKenna" last Friday at ChuckeCheese!  They had so much fun!!!
Little Carter slipped out of the pic!

5. Saturday morning as I got Carter out of his crib I noticed a crib slat laying on the ground.  He had completely cracked and kicked one off the crib!  He has alot of energy :)  So instead of buying a new crib we decided to move on up to a big boy bed.  We are currently on night 5 and he has done wonderful for naptime and bedtime.  We are praying that he continues to do well!

Carter pretending to be asleep!
Who knew all the millions of things a 2 year old would need in a big boy bed to go to sleep!

6. On a sad note Caleb has the flu!  But on the upside he was sick for just one day.  We have had him home all week from preschool for the sake of saving all the others from getting it and he has been doing great!  He ran a fever the first day and has been outside playing everyday since.  Thank you God!  We took Caleb to a new pediatrician for insurance reasons and I absolutely love the new doctor.  They tested Calebs vision with the eye chart and I was so so proud and he knew every letter!!!  Not only is he doing so great learning all of his letters from preschool but he has 20/20 vision! YAY!!!
I have loved having him home with me all week!

7. Hunger Games...  Went and saw the movie tonight at 12:01am!  It was really good!  Now I guess I will have to read the books!!!

High Five for Friday

This has been a fun but very busy week!  I feel that as quickly as it started... it has ended!!!

1. Veggie Tales Live at Cathedral of Praise!  It was such a wonderful show and my kids absolutely loved it!  I really hope we have them back next year.

Caleb was so excited about the DVD that Grandmomma got for him!

It really was amazing!  When Larry and Bob walked out on the stage I was shocked how big they were.

This was Carter's initial facial expression.  He really didn't know what to think!

After intermission he was a little more comfortable...

Caleb right up front taking it all in!

We bought Caleb and Carter Veggie Tales t-shirts!  Caleb wore his to bed that night, to school the next day (because he had to show his friends) and to bed the next night!  This was worth every penny!

2. On Wednesday we had a play date with 2 of the most sweetest friends, Gracen and Sarah.  They played so well together and had so much fun.

Sweet boy!  He smiled every time I put the camera down :)

Sarah dancing to the music.

She got her first pair of glasses later that afternoon.  She is so stinkin adorable!!!!!

All the kids at play!

3. I got my hair did this week.  For every woman, that is something special to celebrate!!!  Here is the link to GATE and Chris Venesky is the jam!!!!

4. After my hair appt I went over to the Charleston Repeats sale with my friends Misty, Meg and Jennifer.  It is in the Omar Shrine Temple and it is wall to wall baby land!  The sale is still on until Saturday so if there are some baby/kid items that you may need it is worth your time.  Charleston Repeats

5. At my job I typically work Friday, Saturday, and Sunday night shift.  I love my job very much but the downside is that I do miss a lot of the fun weekend events that allow me to see my friends!  I try hard during the week to get together with my friends to catch up but it doesn't always work out.  Last night a few girlfriends and I stayed up until 3am catching up on life and everything else under the sun and it completely filled my friendship love tank :)

High Five for Friday

This has been such a fun week!  God is so good all of the time and I am thankful everyday for how he consistently blesses our family!

My High Five for Friday this week:

1. My wonderful mother bought me some new shampoo and conditioner.  I have been using it for 5 days and I absolutely love it!  I love the way it smells and it makes my hair so soft and light!!!!  My mom purchased the products from the salon that we go to!  You can click here for more info... Thanks mom, you are the best.

2. I experienced my first ever night of ZUMBA and can I tell you I have never had so much fun working out before in my life! We loved it so much we want to start our own group!  Any takers...

3. I took the boys to story time at Barnes and Nobles.  They did so well and paid such close attention! I tried going a year ago when Carter was 1yr and Caleb 3yrs old.  I had to try to keep Carter entertained while Caleb would listen so I'm so glad they are both at the age were they can now enjoy it!

You can see which book Caleb wanted to purchase!
I think deep down in his heart he thinks he is a super hero and I do too!!!
Carter's favorite! He is so stinkin cute!!!

4. I really want to start running again but all of my shoes are falling apart!  A week ago I went to the Foot Store and ordered a new pair of running shoes... and they came on Wednesday!  I initially tried them on when I saw a coworker of mine wearing them.  I thought they looked crazy but once I slid my foot into the shoe and walked around I WAS SOLD!!! Here is the site for the shoes!

So I guess this means I have to run now :)

5. Last and certainly not least my sweet sweet husband had a friend who is masseuse come over Thursday night and give us both an hour long massage in the comfort of our home.  It was around 9pm after we put the kids to bed.  It was perfect!!! It has always been a dream of mine to have a wonderful massage and then not have anything else to do but crawl in my bed and go to sleep! Dreams do come true ;) Here is Jeremy's email if anyone wants to get in on this!  He is so so professional and really flexible with the time of day.
